    El viernes 30 de noviembre, Diego Armando Maradona cumplió 60 años, todo el mundo del fútbol lo felicitó.

    ¿Cómo llegó a ser tan famoso?

    Nació en una villa de Buenos Aires, Villa Fiorito, en una zona muy pobre y marginal, su padre trabajaba todo el día y su salario no cubría las necesidades de su familia de 5 hijos.

    El fútbol fue siempre su pasión, desde muy pequeño tuvo una pelota en los pies jugando en las calles de tierra de su villa.

    Diego Armando Maradona turns 60


    On Friday, November 30th, Diego Armando Maradona turned 60 years old, everybody in the soccer world congratulated him.

    How did he become so famous?

    He was born in a village in Buenos Aires, Villa Fiorito, in a very poor and marginal area. His father worked all day and his salary did not cover the needs of his family of 5 children.

    Soccer was always his passion, since he was very young he had a ball on his feet playing in the dirt streets of his village.

    Is he short, right?

    Yes, he is only 1 meter 65. At 8 years old when he started playing in a team, the coach had to go to his house to confirm his age with the birth certificate, because he was very small.
