Unbelievable, right? It’s our 230th podcast! That’s quite a number. How many episodes have you listened to? Sometimes we repeat a few, but since April 2020, you've been practicing 5 minutes of Spanish every Wednesday.
It’s an unbeatable way to practice Spanish, don’t you think?

So, what’s today’s topic?
As you may have guessed, today we’re talking about words with the prefix im.

Im or in?
Well, both—and many are cognates with English.

Shall we look at some examples?

— Eduardo! Are you seriously thinking of climbing this hill in sandals? That’s impossible.
— Not impossible—maybe incredible. But I have faith.
— I think it’s a bit inappropriate… there are a lot of cacti. But… it’s your decision.

Those in- or im- words always catch my attention. They often mean the opposite of something, right?
